茂名是全国重要的石油化工基地，而水东湾·南海旅游岛则不同于传统产业，它以“国际旅游岛”为建设目标，是一个集度假酒店、主题公园、特色商业、休闲康养、特色民宿、文化创意于一体的产城融合的大型文旅综合项目。设计方案围绕碧道进行，通过对水域和林地的治理，结合传统文化提出户外活动场景，最终达到促进产业转型的目标。
水东湾·南海旅游岛44km的碧道建设将串联茂名生活记忆、旅游发展和生态安全格局，从而激活城市各个角落的不同功能。我们提出水东十二时辰的概念，将碧道融入生活、融入旅游、融入健康、融入产业转型与城市发展，并利用这些各具特色的“碧道+画面”全天候吸引游客和市民。
The 44km Blueway in Nanhai Tourism Island, Shuidong Bay will connect living memories, tourism development and ecological security pattern in Maoming, Guangdong. And it will activate various functions of every corner of the city. We put forward the concept of ‘Twelve Sceneries within a Day in Shuidong Bay’ to integrate Blueway into life, tourism, health, industrial transformation and urban development. These distinctive "Blueway + pictures" will attract tourists and citizens to enjoy the scenery all day long.

碧道+文化 Blueway＋culture
规划通过在碧道沿线构建24个文化驿站作为载体，点亮地域文化内涵并充分诠释好心文化、百越文化等精髓。
We designed 24 Cultural Points along the Blueway route. They will act as carriers to fully interpret the essence of Haoxin Culture and Baiyue Culture.
特色二
碧道+旅游 Blueway＋tour
策划茂名特色的蔬果马拉松赛事，规划碧道将设置满足专业、大众级别的赛道。同时注重联动关系，利用碧道带动歌美海以及南海旅游岛的旅游经济发展。
Maoming Vegetable and Fruit Marathon will be one of the most famous events of the city, and the Blueway will provide both professional and mini tracks for it. Besides, we also focus the economical connections. The construction of the Blueway will improve the tourism development of Gemeihai and Nanhai Tourism Island.

碧道+产业 Blueway＋ Industry
结合碧道选线规划，我们充分研究场地特色，提出了海上森林、渔业体验、康养生活等复合型产品。未来的碧道将会成为带动地方就业、绿色出行新体验的必游之地！
Combined with the site characters and Blueway route, we planned multiple products, such as Marine Forest, Fishing Experience, and Healthy Relaxing. In the future, Blueway will become an excellent destination for tourists and local residents. And it will promote the development of local industry, economic and eco-system.
